Farmworkers and Consumers

All of us eat.  Since 85% of our fruits and vegetables are picked by hand, all of us benefit from the hard and dangerous work done by farmworkers in the fields.  As consumers, we are deeply connected to those who produce food, and we owe it to them to make sure they are treated with fairness and dignity.
